Every year until this one I thought it was pretty cool that Dad and I had the same birthday. People always got a kick out of it. This year, it wasn't as cool, it was just kinda weird. I smiled today when I thought of one of the last things he ever said to me, last year around this time, outside the Hebrew Home in the Bronx...we told him Donald Trump was running for president and he looked bewildered and said "DONALD TRUMP is running?? THAT schmuck?!" Classic Marty Milrad...will never forget that. I hope "Daddy-O" is watching this ridiculous presidential campaign with a New York Times, coffee, and bagel in hand, laughing at it all and praising Barack Obama. I miss him everyday, and think of him all the time. This will always be our day and I just hope I can make him proud occasionally. Love you "Daddy-O", we all do :) -Shawn
